Developing Winning Cost Proposals
Fee: $195 general public
$185 University of Maryland personnel and associates, PTAP clients, SBDC clients
More than just a piece of paper with a few obligatory numbers on it, the Cost Proposal is actually an opportunity to “shine” competitively. The cost proposal volume will either enhance, or detract from, the applicant’s credibility, is often evaluated separately by specialists and frequently becomes the deciding factor in making or denying awards. Since the Cost Proposal is “central” to all government proposals, it is imperative that applicants become familiar with both the inherent dangers and advantages available within the process.
Attendees will learn about:
· essentials of the cost proposal process
· differences between Grants and Contracts
· using proposal budgets to enhance credibility
· developing the critical direct costs numbers
· estimating costs and negotiating prices
· setting fees and rates
· and much, much more . . .
